DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

On arrival Hanoi, You will be met and transferred between the airport to your hotel in a private vehicle with an English speaking guide. Check in & free at leisure.

DAY 2: HANOI (B/L/-)

Full day Hanoi city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence (Closed on Monday, Friday and the whole of Oct & Nov), One pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. After lunch, continue city tour to one of the museums (Fine Art, History, Revolutionary, War, Ethnology Museum) of your choice (closed on Monday), Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple and experience a one hour Cyclo tour. Finish your day off at the Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Lunch is included.

 DAY 3: FULLDAY COOKING CLASS AT VAN GIANG VILLAGE & BAT TRANG CERAMIC (B/L/-)

Morning, transfer to Van Giang village - A scenic hour-long drive brings you to the charming village of Van Giang - the rural villages around Vietnam’s capital Hanoi which offer a glimpse into country life largely untouched by commercial development. Our tour takes you to an area which is cradled in the Red River Delta – here visit an ancient temple with superb architecture, a country style market where an abundance of produce can be seen and meet a local family in their 150-year old home for lunch. Enjoy a cup of green tea as get acquainted with your hosts and hear history of the village.

Afternoon, transfer to Bat Trang Pottery Village - the famous village is situated approx 15km outside of Hanoi, surrounded by fertile farmland.  It was found 500 years ago, produces handicrafts of a unique style with special characteristics with the quality of design, color, sculpture, graphics, modeling and workmanship. Watch the artisans forming, painting and glazing their products, which are then baked for several days in huge kilns. It gives you the general experience about the Bat Trang pottery. Transfer back to Hanoi. End tour at your hotel.

DAY 4:  HANOI - HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)

You will be picked up at 8am for your private transfer to Halong City. You may stop en route to admire the local scenery. Arrive at the port around 11:30am and board the ship. Begin sailing and pass through magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbath on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, you will visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local people who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. Back on board enjoy a lavish dinner.

 DAY 5: HA LONG BAY - HANOI - HOI AN (B/L/-)

Wake up early to Tai Chi exercises on the sun deck and continue cruising the bays. Breakfast buffet will be served in the restaurant. Then you will visit the limestone grotto. Disembark in Halong City around 11am and transfer to Hanoi – Airport for flight to Danang ….

Arrival Danang, you are met our tour guide and driver south to Hoian which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down the centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures.

DAY 6: HOI AN (B/L/-)

Morning, walking tour of Hoi An, discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An' colorful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukien Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An's burgeoning textile industry. Enjoy lunch (included in tour price).

DAY 7: ONEDAY TOUR TO BECOME A FARMER IN TRA QUE VILLAGE (B/L/-)

Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of the Pho Hoi people. Here a new spirit for traditional Hoi An dishes like Cao Lau, Quang noodles, the local ‘Tam huu' spring roll (made from Tra Que vegetables) and cake with meat (Banh xeo) has been enlivened. Experience a day of living and working with the local people in Tra Que vegetable village, in which you will have a chance to discover the daily life of farmers.
You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing activities such as: raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Then spend the rest of the morning working the land in the honoured way, before breaking to prepare lunch with a local family. Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including ‘tam huu' spring roll, Banh xeo or the local pancake of the people from the middle region. After your lunch and the exertions of the morning, take an even more traditional Vietnamese post-prandial nap before learning how to harvest and wrap the vegetables. Around 15.00, bid farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An, on the way back stop at Nhat tomb and Ba Le well. The tour finishes at 16h00.

 DAY 8: HOI AN - DA NANG – HUE (B/L/-)

Morning, leave Hoian we drive south to Hue - was the capitol of Vietnam, from 1744 until 1945, when the last emperor abdicated. The scenic road is hugging the coastline before crossing over the winding Hai Van pass. Stop to visit the Cham Museum - the most extensive collection of Cham art worldwide and the Marble Mountain, whose peaks represent the five elements of the universe. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, continue your tour with a boat cruise along the Perfume River. Enjoy this romantic cruise and visit the Minh Mang Tomb. Finish up at Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Stop at Dong Ba market for shopping.

DAY 9: HUE & FLYKITES AT NGO MON GATE (B/L/-)

Morning, we visit the Hue Citadel - Vietnam’s former imperial capital - a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site. With an area of 500ha and a system of three circles of ramparts, this citadel is far more elaborate than those constructed by previous empires. Stop at Khai Dinh tomb - In comparison with those of the preceding emperors, it is very elaborate. It is the result of the interminglement of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern. Then, transfer to visit Tu Duc Tomb - It is one of the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty. The tomb lies in a boundless pine forest, 8km from Hue city-centre. Its construction started in December 1864 and finished in 1867.

Later afternoon, enjoy one more activity fly-kites contest. Our guide will prepare each person a fly-kite and transfer to Ngo Mon for flying a kite, you manage kite by solid string and balance it on the sky. That is fantastic emotion to experience. If any person controls fly-kite highest they are winners.

 DAY 10: HUE - SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY) (B/L/-)

Morning, transfer to airport for flight to Saigon by …

Arrival Saigon, enjoy a private transfer with English Speaking Guide between Saigon airport and your hotel.

After check in, transfer to visit War Crime Museum which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam's wars with the both the French and Americans, Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office and Ben Thanh market.

 DAY 11: SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY) - CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L/-)

Morning, transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, Cu Chi was an important base during the American War, because of its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon factories. Dug out of hard late-rite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network w  as never discovered. Enjoy lunch (included in tour price). Afternoon, drive to visit a family of local artists.  Learn about traditional Vietnamese instruments through conversations with the artists and hear performances from each family member. Guests then have the chance to try the instruments for themselves - a memorable if somewhat noisy experience.

 DAY 12: SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY) - VINH LONG - CAN THO (B/L/-)

You will be picked up by private car and English speaking Driver and head for Can Tho today. A stop will be made in Cai Be where you can visit the colorful floating market. Travel along the Mekong canals to Dong Ho Hiep Island, located between Ving Long and Cai Be. Discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical rural life of the Mekong Delta. After lunch in a local restaurant (is in the price incl), enjoy a stroll along the narrow canals before your transfer to Can Tho. Enjoy lunch (included in tour price).

 DAY 13: CAN THO – SAIGON (B/L/-)

Morning, depart Ninh Kieu wharf by shuttle-boat, you can see bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks. Particularly, you may know how local people go fishing with plenty of fish traps and how they transport passengers as well as products by the waterway. Approaching Cai Rang floating market, you can reappear the selling activities in the past using a traditional “offering pole” exchanging consumer goods hanging on the pole for Mekong fruit and vegetables with local sellers. To understand more about lifestyle over here, keep on going into the small creeks called Rach Nho in which the Southern countryside can be seen clearly before cruising back to Ninh Kieu Wharf. Enjoy lunch (included in tour price) and drive back Saigon.
